Listen: Nicolas Jaar Goes "Daftside" By Remixing Daft Punk's Entire "Random Access Memories" Album

While some of the haters have had their fun bashing the new Daft Punk album, "Random Access Memories," we feel it's easily one of the best releases of 2013 so far. Now before we head off to see acclaimed producer Nicolas Jaar headline The Do LaB's upcoming Lightning in a Bottle festival in a couple of weeks, Jaar and his Darkside production partner have remixed "Random Access Memories" in full and to great effect. It does sound a lot different to the original, but like the best remixes, keeps more than enough intact.

Listen to Nicolas Jaar's Daftside below:

Pharrell Williams Features on Latest Daft Punk "The Collaborators" Video To Talk "Random Access Memories"

The anticipation keeps building in the most beautiful fashion for Daft Punk's eagerly-anticipated new album, "Random Access Memories." I must say I find the video series, "The Collaborators" to be a great stroke of promo gold for the discerning music nerd like myself (and you). Each has focused on an integral player for the upcoming album and the latest has none of than megastar, Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes fame. He openly gushes about working with "The Robots" and we are treated to the most new sounds yet of single, "Get Lucky," which is all but guaranteed to be the hit of the summer.

Daft Punk Perform "Random Access Memories" at Coachella 2013!

Well at least in the form of the BIGGEST new album teaser yet....featuring a video that played on the festival screens showing the notorious robots jamming out with The Neptunes' Pharrell and the legendary Nile Rodgers. This confirms the disco-influenced vibe on the first single and it sounds like it will be the summer 2013 anthem. Now we'll see if the robots will be appearing on stage with fellow Frenchmen, Phoenix during their headline slot.

Oh and in case you missed it, here's part 3 of "The Collaborators" series on "Random Access Memories" this time featuring Nile Rodgers!

Bold Prediction: Daft Punk WILL Tour in 2013

Despite a lot of back and forth this week over whether or not iconic electronic music producers, Daft Punk will be embarking on a tour in 2013...we aren't fooled by the smoke and mirrors and firmly believe they will be hitting the road - at least for a handful of appearences. When you consider that they will definitely have a new album out this year, you can be certain the band will want to announce their comeback in a big way. While Coachella is the usual hot-tipped choice for the USA, (which would make sense for the cultural impact of the new album), don't count out a full-blown tour towards the end of the year.

These guys only do things big and this image says it all:
