Hello 2013: Listen to Massive Attack's Fresh 6 Mix on BBC Featuring Songs That Inspired Their Landmark Debut Album "Blue Lines"

We've arrived at 2013 and the dawning of a new era. But as we move forward, it's important not to forget our past either. Last year seminal electronic outfit, Massive Attack, released a special remastered version of their classic debut album, "Blue Lines" and original members 3D and Daddy G recently compiled a fantastic installment in the BBC 6 Mix series that illustrates their vast musical influences. Opening with Pink Floyd and Kraftwerk, the mix also features newer artists like Burial and Flying Lotus, plus a couple of classic Massive Attack jams too.

Take a listen and hear the sounds that helped shape one of the most influential electronic groups of our time.

Special Thanks: To 2013 being an incredible year, Massive Attack still holding it down, Headtron Music, gourmet breakfast sandwiches, the start of the NFL playoffs, Almunia, Synkro and hope.
